  • 三国演义, Romance of the Three Kingdoms by Luo Guanzhong, translated by Wikisource
  • 西游记, The Journey to the West, by Wu Cheng'en. Monkey, translated by Waley, Arthur. And another version translated by Timothy Richard, A JOURNEY TO HEAVEN, the book was attributed to the Taoist patriarch Ch' iu Ch'u-ki, or  Ch'iu Ch'ang Ch'un (the Perfect Man of Eternal Spring),  as the general reading public did for centuries. 
  • Hung Lou Meng, or, the Dream of the Red Chamber, a Chinese Novel, Book I and Book II by Cao Xuqin, translated by H. BENCRAFT JOLY.
  • 虬髯客传 or The Biography of the Old Dragon-Beard, translated by Ewald Osers. Jin Yong highly praised the novel as the first masterpiece of Wuxia (Martial Arts and Chivalry) genre.   
  • 好逑传Hau Kiou choaan  The first Chinese Novel translated into foreign languages. 

Drama

  • The Orphan of Chao, A tragedy, 中国孤儿 by Voltaire, translated from French, but I am not sure who was the Translator.
  • Tchao Chi Cou Ell, 赵氏孤儿 translated from Chinese to French by Joseph H. M. de Prémare, and published by  Jean-Baptiste Du Halde in his book Description de la Chine, this version was translated from French.

Folk Tales

  • Chinese  Folktale, includes 50 stories, Originally Published as Chinesische Märchen (Chinese Fairy Tales) Translated into German by Richard Wilhelm, 1958. This English Selection Translated from the German by Ewald Osers, and Published by G. Bell & Sons Ltd., 1971.
